How we count
- People and page views: visits to ownbox.io, recorded by its PostHog analytics, the same numbers the SEO Machine's Performance screen shows.
- AI assistants' visits: each time ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant opens a page because someone asked it something.
- AI search reads: each time an AI search engine reads a page for its index.
- Visits from AI answers: visits that arrived from a link in an AI answer, each counted once.
- People from our cold emails and from our posts: people who arrived on a link we tagged in an email or a post, counted for the one that brought them last. We started tagging the week of October 26.
- People who opened the live demo: people who pressed Open the live demo on ownbox.io/demo, each counted once a week, never our own browsers. It shows from the first week one was recorded.
- Articles published: the articles on ownbox.io, counted on the day each was published.
