What we do
We host your box, install every update, keep an eye on it and keep daily backups. When something needs a person, you get the people who built it.

What you keep
The box, the code and the data are yours either way. Managed changes who does the upkeep, not who owns it.
If you cancel
Cancel anytime. Your box keeps running for 30 days, then move it to your own DigitalOcean account in one click, or we power it off and keep it safe for you.
How you get it
It's on every checkout with the first three months free. Nothing is charged for it until month four, and you can cancel before then.
What it costs
Every checkout includes the first three months free, then it's $99 a month, or $199 a month with Pro. Pro also includes priority support.
You can cancel yourself, in one click, from Managed on your Ownbox's dashboard.
After you cancel
- Nothing is charged until month four, so cancelling before then costs nothing.
- Moving your Ownbox home takes a DigitalOcean account with a card on it. From then on the server is about $12 a month, paid to DigitalOcean.
- If you don't move it, we power it off and keep a copy safe until you claim it or ask us to delete it.
- Your data and your code are yours either way, and everything on it exports in full.
What we can see
We don't log in to your Ownbox. Updates arrive signed and it installs them, and it sends us a health report, which is all we read. If we ever need to get in to fix something, we ask you first.
