Mostly on the left? You don't need an Ownbox yet. Mostly on the right? Your people and your AI agents are each working from their own copy of the facts. An Ownbox is built for that.

What an Ownbox is

  • One AI BrainYour documents, prices, decisions and how-tos in one place. Your people and your AI agents work from it, so a change is made once.
  • Your AI agents connect to itEach Ownbox has its own MCP server. It thinks with your own Claude or ChatGPT account, or a free OpenRouter one.
  • Nothing goes out that you haven't allowedDrafted replies wait for a person, unless you've let a channel answer on its own. Changes wait on Approvals. The SEO Machine, once you switch it on, publishes on its own schedule.
  • A server of its own, always onYou own the Ownbox and your data. The software comes with a perpetual license to run it for your business.
  • One inbox, as an add-onThe Unified Inbox puts Gmail and other email, Instagram and Messenger in one place, and drafts the replies. Outlook and Microsoft 365 can't connect yet.
  • Found by AI apps, as an add-onThe SEO Machine writes articles that answer the questions buyers ask AI apps like ChatGPT, and publishes them to your own site. It can't promise a mention.

Questions people ask

Do I need an Ownbox if I work alone?

Probably not yet. When it's just you and one AI, the facts live in your head, and a spreadsheet or Airtable carries a lot. An Ownbox earns its place once other people, or several AI agents, need the same facts at the same time. To see one working first, the shared demo is free.

Does it replace Airtable or our CRM?

Not as a spreadsheet. Your Ownbox keeps one record for each person its machines meet, like someone who messages your inbox, and your AI agents can look anyone up. If Airtable runs your pipeline well, keep it.

What does it cost, all in?

Ownbox Core is $799 once, for up to 3 people. Ownbox Pro is $1,599 once, for any number of people. For now, Core comes with one add-on machine free, and Pro has both. Hosting, updates, backups and help are free for 90 days, then $99 a month ($199 on Pro), cancel anytime. Or move it to your own DigitalOcean account any time from 30 days after you buy and pay DigitalOcean directly, about $12 a month. Your AI account is separate: the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already pay for, or a free OpenRouter account.

Where does our data go?

Your data is stored on your Ownbox. What a connected AI reads, it sends to its own AI provider, under your account with them. It's the same as when you use that AI directly.

Do we own it?

Your data and your Ownbox are yours, on a server of its own that moves to your own account any time from 30 days after you buy. The software comes with a perpetual license to run it for your business. No lock-in. No contracts.

Built for teams that work with AI.

Other software lets you export your data as a file. Ownbox hands you the working server: your data and your Ownbox are yours, on a server of its own.
