The Inbox Machine
The unified inbox
you own. Not the one
that owns you.
Every email and DM your business gets, from Gmail, Instagram and Messenger, in one unified inbox with a reply already drafted in your voice, on a machine you own.
Yours today, not on a waitlist. Running before you finish reading the email.

Your box
Keep every conversation on a machine you own.
Every conversation lands in your Ownbox's own database, on a server no other business shares, and stays there. The data and the code are yours.

YOUR OWNBOX
INBOX MACHINE
every message in one queue, drafted, waiting for you.
THE FOUNDATION — what every box runs on
brain—every machine thinks through it
cost guard—a hard monthly ceiling on the box
queue—jobs claimed once, never twice
worker—runs them, one at a time
dispatch—one door in, bearer-locked
connectors—Gmail, Instagram, Messenger
dashboard—everything on one screen
morning page—what happened, before you start
watchdog—probes itself every 30 minutes
secrets—your keys, on your Ownbox
SQLite — /opt/aios/aios.db
one file. Everything the box knows.
systemd · Ubuntu 24.04 · its own server
daily backups on every box

YOUR MODEL

we never see it
every draft
Drafted replies
Reply in your voice without writing it.
It reads what came in, drafts a reply that sounds like you, and waits. Nothing reaches a customer until a person approves it.

Search
Search every word anyone said, not just the subject line.
Search across every conversation you have ever had, on any channel that reaches your Ownbox. One database, all of it yours.

The morning page
Start the day knowing what needs you.
Everything that came in overnight, what needs you, and what changed. One page, before you start.

Ask it from Claude
Run it from the chat window you already have open.
It speaks MCP, so Claude and ChatGPT read your box directly: how many conversations came in, what that customer said last month. There's no interface to learn.

The other way to fix it
You are the integration. Don't become the product.
A local business hears from customers in nine places and answers in nine places. A review went up Tuesday, a DM has sat since Friday, and somebody asked a question on your Google listing that nobody saw. Every tool built to fix this fixes it the same way: your conversations move to their servers, and they tell you how carefully they hold them.
How many companies hold them?
Every processor a SaaS hands your data to has to be published by law, so read that list on any hosted inbox you are weighing up. While we host your box, Ownbox has one: the company that owns the disk. The day you take it home, none.
We read Instagram and Facebook through a connector, like everyone in this category. A connector reads a message through to your Ownbox; the copy that matters is the one on your Ownbox.

We run it. You own it. Managed is ours to run: we host it, update it, watch it, and keep backups. It is its own line at checkout — the first three months are free, then $99 a month ($199 with Pro) until you cancel. Cancel anytime. Your box keeps running for 30 days, then move it to your own DigitalOcean account in one click, or we power it off and keep it safe for you.
from $99/mo
After checkout, your Ownbox is built on its own DigitalOcean server and you get a login by email in about five minutes. No server to set up, no terminal. Managed Support is free for 3 months and includes the hosting; after that it's $99 a month ($199 with Pro), cancel anytime. Move the box to your own DigitalOcean account whenever you want; from then on you pay DigitalOcean directly, about $12 a month. Your AI runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan, billed by them. Year one comes to $1,690 with Managed Support, or $907 if you take the box home after the free months, plus the AI plan you already pay for; nothing is charged for Managed Support until month four. Upgrade to Pro anytime from inside your Ownbox, for the $1,100 difference. Nothing moves.
Questions
How is this different from the inbox I have?
Your inbox shows you email; this puts your email, Instagram DMs and Messenger in one queue, with the replies drafted. And it runs on a machine you own, so the conversations never become someone else's asset.
How do the drafted replies work?
It reads what came in, writes a reply in your voice, and waits for you to approve or change it. Approval is on by default, and no update we ship can switch it off.

Is my data private?
Everything the box knows lives in one database file on its own server. The AI calls go to your own account, not ours. While Managed Support hosts it, its backups stay with the same provider and nowhere else. Move the box to your own account, and we have no access at all.

Do I have to run the server myself?
No. Managed Support runs it for you, hosting included: free for three months, then $99 a month ($199 with Pro). Or move it to your own DigitalOcean account whenever you want and run it yourself.
Whose AI is it running on?
Yours. Claude and ChatGPT sign in with OAuth. Their terms bar using a subscription through a third-party app; the box isn't one, because it's yours. It thinks on the plan you already pay for, and we never see the account. An API key works too if you'd rather.
What happens if you go out of business?
Your code and data were never ours to lose, and everything on the box exports in full. The box is yours to take home: from inside it, you move it to your own DigitalOcean account, where it runs without us. Take it home any day, and our going anywhere can't stop it.

Why isn't this a subscription?
Because the box doesn't need us to keep working. You pay once for the machine. Upkeep is the ongoing part, and that's Managed Support Services: optional, the first three months free. Cancel anytime. Your box keeps running for 30 days, then move it to your own DigitalOcean account in one click, or we power it off and keep it safe for you.
Buy the machine, not the subscription.
Four hundred and ninety-nine dollars, once. It arrives built, it runs on a machine you own, and everything it learns stays there.
