You get Ownbox Core: the five-part software foundation on its own hosted cloud server, a dashboard and mobile app, and your choice of the Inbox Machine, a unified inbox, or the AEO Machine. Managed Support is included for the first three months. The AI service you connect is billed by its provider.
The Inbox Machine, a unified inbox for email and DMs, and the AEO Machine are available now. Core includes your choice of one; Pro includes both. More Machines may come later, and none is included unless it is marked as available.
A Claude Pro or Max plan, or a ChatGPT Plus, Pro or Business plan: you sign in to it from your Ownbox's settings. For Claude, an Anthropic API key works too. Gemini and Grok are planned. Your provider's plan limits and charges apply.
Core costs $799 once; Pro costs $1,899 once. Managed Support is included for three months, then renews at $99/month for Core or $199/month for Pro unless canceled. Your AI provider may charge separately. If you move Ownbox to your own cloud account, that hosting provider bills you directly, about $12 a month on DigitalOcean.
You keep your license to the software and your business data. After you cancel, your Ownbox keeps running for 30 days. In that time we can move it to your own DigitalOcean account with you, or we power it off and keep a copy safe until you claim it or ask us to delete it. Updates and support end with Managed, and hosting doesn't stay free.
Your business information is yours: it exports in full, and you can move your Ownbox to hosting you control. The software comes with a perpetual license to run it for your business; it can't be resold or passed on.
No. Your Ownbox is deployed for you. You sign in, connect a supported AI account and the services your Machine uses, then work through the dashboard or phone app. Developers can also build their own Machines with the free SDK.
No. Ownbox is software deployed on its own cloud server. You use it through a web dashboard and a phone app. No physical hardware ships.
Only where you turn it on. In the Inbox Machine's unified inbox, drafts wait for you to review, edit and send. Auto-replies can be switched on for Instagram and Messenger; they're off by default, and email always waits for you. The AEO Machine publishes on its own schedule once you switch it on, after its publishing check.
No. It helps create and publish answers to customer questions, and connects Google Search Console so you can track search visibility. Search rankings, AI citations and leads depend on factors outside Ownbox's control.
No. Today the Inbox Machine's unified inbox covers Gmail and other IMAP email, Instagram and Messenger. Outlook and Microsoft 365 aren't supported.
Your Ownbox runs on its own server, with no license check that could switch it off. Moved to your own DigitalOcean account, it keeps running with your business information on it. What comes from Ownbox would stop: software updates, the Search Console connection and the ownbox.app web address.
Your records live on your Ownbox's own server, not in a shared database. When your Ownbox asks your AI to draft or answer, that request is processed by your AI provider under your account's terms. While Managed hosts it, backups stay with the same hosting provider.
